privatized. Villa Noseda was built in 1943 and served as a garage and servants\u2019 house to the adjacent historic villa.<\/p><p>In the 1960s, the villa was divided into two separate properties and restored. Our family bought the property in 2004 and restored it once again to its current layout and design.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Before Villa Noseda was built, its current garden was once used as a public dock for the\u00a0<em>Comballi<\/em>, merchant boats used for the transport of heavy weights such as the\u00a0<em>Sasso di Moltrasio<\/em>, and the smaller boat,\u00a0<em>Lucia<\/em>, for the exchange of goods such as vegetables, fish, olives and olive oil to be sold in the town square of Moltrasio.<\/p><p>The\u00a0<em>Comballi<\/em>\u00a0were sailing boats that used the\u00a0<em>Tivano<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Breva<\/em>\u00a0winds, which blow from the north in the morning and from the south in the evening respectively, to carry merchandise on Lake Como.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
